The holiest place on earth

The Holiest Place on Earth

Baithullah, the Holy Ka'abah in Makkathul Mukarramah, Saudi Arabia.

Islam is the perfect faith
that Allahu Sub'hanahu va tha Aalaa,
the Supreme Creator and Sustainer of the Universe,
has Himself perfected for all humanity.
It has the correct answers to all questions
and provides the right guidance  in all situations.
Islam is indeed the Faith for All Humanity

All over the world, when Muslims  stand up for prayer, five times every day, they face this Abode of Allah. “We do not worship the House, we worship Allah, Who is there and everywhere and He is settled and treasured with love and devotion in our hearts”.

The Haj we yearn to perform, at least once in a lifetime, is focused  on the Ka’abah. The name signifies pre eminence and grandeur.  It is named after the cubic form in which Islam’s honored Prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismayeel built it 5,000 years ago.

Muslims draw inspiration and spiritual uplift from Abraham’s invocation to Allah: “My Lord, make this city (Makkah) the blessed haven of peace and security and prevent me and my descendants from worshipping idols.
“Our Lord, I have settled some of my offspring in an uncultivable valley near Your Sacred House so they may offer prayers in perfection unto You. Our Lord, kindly incline the hearts of people with love towards them and grant them (sustenance in the form of) fruit that they remain grateful to You.
“Our Lord, You know that which we conceal and that which we proclaim.  Nothing in the earth or the heavens is hidden from Allah.  Praise be to Allah Who has given me, in my old age, (my sons) Ismayeel and Isaac!
“My Lord is indeed  the One Who listens to, and grants us, our prayers. My Lord, help me and the chosen from my descendants to establish excellence in worship unto You and kindly accept our supplications. Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers when the Day of Reckoning arrives.”  (Holy Qur’an:  Surah 14th:  Ibraheem:  32–41)
And: “Our Lord! Send among them a Messenger of their own  (from the lineage of Abraham and Ismayeel) who shall recite unto them Your Verses and instruct them in the Book (the Holy Qur’an, that is inviolate and inviolable for all time and is preserved in its pristince purity in the Lou’he Mahfooz,  near Your Magnificent Throne) and that he may also train them in (the art of) Al  Hikmah, (the successful management of life, one’s own and the people’s) and also purify them (of their sins). Indeed, You (and You Alone) are the Almighty, the All Wise!”  (Surah 2nd:  Al Baq’rah: verse 129).
